Gluten Free Pie Recipe – Strawberry Crumb
A delicious gluten free pie!
Ingredients
- Sweet Ali’s gluten free prepared pie crust, or prepared pie dough ball to roll out your own crust
Filling:
- 3 cups sliced strawberries
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- 1/4 tsp grated orange zest
- 2 1/2 T cornstarch
Topping:
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup flour
- 3/4 cup oatmeal
- 4 T butter (melted and cooled)
Directions
Combine the strawberries with 1/2 cup sugar, lemon juice, orange zest and cornstarch. In a separate bowl, combine 1/3 cup sugar, flour, oatmeal and butter until it resembles a soft, crumbly mixture. Spoon strawberries into pie crust and top with crumb mixture. Bake at 375 degrees for 50 minutes or until crumb mixture is golden brown.
