Gluten Free Pie Recipe – Peach

 A delightful gluten free pie!


  • 8 firm, but ripened peaches
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1/2 tsp almond extract
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3 T butter (cut up)
  • 1 egg
  • Sweet Ali’s prepared pie crust, or prepared pie dough ball to roll out your own crust


Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Thinly slice the peaches, leaving the skin on. In a bowl, mix peaches with lemon juice and almond extract. Wisk together flour, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt. Add flour mixture to peaches and combine well. Pour peaches into crust. Top with pieces of butter. Place second crust over top; create lattice or other decoration; beat egg with tsp. of water and brush over top. Place in oven for 10 minutes; reduce oven to 350 degrees and bake for about 50 minutes longer or until crust is golden brown.
