More chances to get to know you…

Posted on March 4, 2016

Sweet Ali’s has always loved introducing our products to the community. It is a reason we do regular tastings at our wholesale partners as well as other community events. But we do it for more than introducing us to you, we do it so you can introduce yourself to us. We love getting to know our customers, why you are gluten free, how you manage it, where you like to eat, what you like to eat, what do you do on the weekends, who is in your family and so much more. Knowing you makes us a better bakery, a better community leader, a better gluten free advocate and a better place to work.

In the next couple of months, we have quite a few events. Some are gluten free and others are not. Some we have attended in the past and others are brand new. But all are a chance to get to meet and know you. We hope we will see you at one (or all!) of them.

Evening in Bloom is the official preview benefit of the Chicago Flower & Garden Show. The gala takes place the night before the Chicago Flower and Garden Show debuts and benefits local charities through ticket proceeds. Sweet Ali’s is honored to be part of the small group of food purveyors that will be offering dessert during this fabulous event. March 11th, 6pm, Navy Pier

Free Celiac Screening at Advocate Lutheran General is the perfect opportunity to get tested (for free!) for celiac disease. We will be at the screening offering sweet treats to those who are tested. March 12th, 9am – 1pm, Advocate Lutheran General Hospital, Park Ridge

Spring Flours is the annual fundraiser for the University of Chicago’s Celiac Disease Center. This center works hard to raise awareness, education, and diagnosis rates, and conduct research on celiac disease. The chef tasting tables are back this year and Sweet Ali’s will be there offering yummy cupcakes to attendees. May 6th, 6pm – 10pm, Chicago Cultural Center

Gluten Free Allergen Friendly Expo is the place to be if you’re looking for specialty products that taste great or trying to learn how to cook and bake to meet your dietary needs. Sweet Ali’s continues their support of this event with a large booth offering samples and customer favorites for sale. May 14th – 15th, 10am – 4pm, Schaumburg Convention Center

The Community House (Hinsdale) is a nonprofit organization that offers both community recreation and quality social services to people of all ages and walks of life. They are celebrating their 75th Anniversary this year and Sweet Ali’s is proud to be a Corporate Bronze Sponsor. We will be participating in various events throughout the celebration year.
