Front Counter and Marketing & Community Liaison

Sweet Ali’s Gluten Free Bakery is looking for someone who enjoys the aroma of delicious baked goods while providing great customer service to our valuable customers! This role will include working a few days at our front counter and another day being a marketing and community liaison.

Responsibilities:

  • Create a welcoming environment for Sweet Ali’s customers
  • Assist customers, process point-of-sale transactions, take phone and in person orders
  • Wrap and label products, stock product shelves, count inventory
  • Understand the principles of selling and be able to talk to the customer to understand their needs while optimizing sales
  • Be able to follow directions, multi-task and complete tasks
  • Be creative with product placement, point of sale items, sampling, ideas for products or window displays
  • Create meeting agendas and complete minutes
  • Create monthly employee newsletters
  • Marketing team member, promotions and events
  • Local Community Liaison

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Knowledgeable about gluten free living
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Word
  • Have excellent writing and verbal communication skills
  • Be courteous, punctual and reliable
  • College degree preferred

This position requires flexible daytime availability.
